versus the street gospel

Where rivalry meets rhythm: this project explores 1990s East vs. West Coast hip-hop through album covers, invitations, and Met Gala banners. Archival images of Tupac and Biggie were composited with AI-assisted mural effects, graffiti brushes, and concrete textures for an authentic street aesthetic. Vinyl packaging replaces traditional sides with “West Side” and “East Side,” visually narrating rivalry and shared ambition. Designed entirely in Photoshop and Illustrator.
